  • Day 1 Tirrana
    Arrival at the Tirana Mother Terresa Airport. Foreign-language tour guide will wait guests with a sign at International Flight Arrival Exit.
    Transfer from the Airport and accommodation at a hotel in Tirana.
    Day 2 Tirana • Durres • Tirana
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Drive towards Durres, the second largest city and one of the most ancient and economically significant cities of Albania.
    Durres sightseeing: walking tour of the Dyrrachium, previous vital Roman port of The Egnatian Way and downtown area: visit to the ruins of the Roman Thermal Baths and the Byzantine Forum, Durres Amphitheatre and Archeological Museum (the largest in Albania).
    After Durres city tour, a stop at one of the viewpoints of the city, overlooking the entire bay.
    Free time.
    Return to the hotel and overnight stay
    Day 3
    		 Tirana • Kruja • Shkodra
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Visit to the small characteristic mediaeval town of Kruja (5-6th centuries), perched on a hill 560 m above sea level, once being the center of Albanian resistance against the Ottoman Turks under National Hero Scanderbeg. Kruja sightseeing: Kruja Castle, historical museum, the old bazaar.
    Excursion to the cultural capital of Albania, the City of Shkoder – visit to the Rozafa Castle, Archaeological and Ethnographic museum “The house of Oso Kuka”, pedestrian street “Kole Idromeno”, the oldest neighborhood of Shkodra called “Gjuhadol”, Shkodra Lake, passing Buna and Drini Rivers.

    Day 4
    		 Shkodra • Ardenica • Berat
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Drive towards Berat, one of the most visited towns in Albania for its architectural uniqueness (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
    On the way to Berat short visit to Monastery of Ardenica, built in the 13th century.
    City tour of Berat with its famous quarters, visit to the castle and Onufri Museum.
    Hotel accommodation and overnight stay in Berat.
    Day 5
    		 Berat • Gjirokastra
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Drive towards Gjirokastra, a well-preserved city from the period of Osman Empire (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
    On the way to the historical city od stone short stop at the nature park “Cold Water” in Tepelena.
    Gjirokastra sightseeing: The Castle Argiro, The National Museum of Armaments, Palorto Quarter.
    Hotel accommodation and overnight stay in Gjirokastra.
    Day 6
    		 Gjirokastra • Butrint • Saranda • Gjirokastra
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Excursion to the ancient city of Butrint (UNESCO World Heritage Site), 18 km away from the town of Saranda, visiting The Temple of Asclepius, the Baptistery, nymph, theatre, Lions Gate, the Acropolis etc.
    Free time and leisure at the beautiful beaches of Ionian Sea.
    Visit to the Natural Monument the Blue Eye, the water spring with its stunning natural deep pool.
    Return to Gjirokastra in late afternoon, overnight stay
    Day 7
    		 Gjirokastra • Tirana
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Return to the Tirana, city tour of the Albania Capital: city center, Scanderbeg Square, Ministries, Government Building, Presidential Palace, the Mother Theresa Boulevard, National Theater and Opera House and National History Museum.
    Visit to the museum of modern art Bunk-Art, the underground nuclear bunker built in the 1970s and transformed into a museum and art space.
    Hotel accommodation and overnight stay in Tirana.
    Day 8
    		 Tirana • Airport
    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Free time.
    Transfer from the Tirana hotel to the Mother Teresa Airport.
